Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to website enquiries, proposals and professional services supplied by Velder Business Advisory. A signed engagement letter, accepted proposal or paid invoice forms the service agreement. If a specific written agreement conflicts with these general terms, the specific agreement prevails.
Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate, complete and timely information, maintain required records, review deliverables and approve submissions where requested. Delays or errors caused by missing or inaccurate information may affect deadlines, fees and outcomes.
Fees and payment
Current starting prices appear on our Packages page. The accepted proposal confirms the exact scope, price, billing cycle, VAT treatment and any third-party costs. Monthly services are generally invoiced in advance. Unless the invoice states otherwise, payment is due on presentation. Overdue work may be paused after notice.
Professional limitations
Advice is based on the facts and law available at the time and is intended for the named client. Estimates, forecasts and business outcomes are not guarantees. Velder is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.
Confidentiality and intellectual property
Each party must protect confidential information. The client retains ownership of its source records. Velder retains its pre-existing methods and templates; once paid, the client may use final deliverables for their intended internal purpose.
Termination and disputes
Cancellation and refunds are governed by the linked policies. South African law applies. The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith before using formal remedies.
